The Sustainable Consumption Where-to Go Guide
Where can you buy Fair Trade coffee or organic toothpaste? What can you do with books and clothes that you no longer need? Where can you get an umbrella repaired?
We spent months exploring Warsaw, Kraków and Wrocław, seeking out the most sustainable businesses. The result: Spacerownik - a city where-to go guide for the conscious consumer.
Spacerownik includes:
- cafes and shops selling organic and Fairtrade products
- shops selling recycled and handmade products
- service centres where you can swap or repair everyday items
- other places promoting informed, responsible consumption, e.g. places that host workshops, cultural events, film screenings, debates etc.
The results of our search for such places in Warsaw, Kraków and Wrocław are presented in as three handy guides ( download a pdf), as well as on-line. Your contributions are welcome!
We want to extend Spacerownik to other Polish cities, but we can't do it alone. If you are from a city yet to be covered by Spacerownik and would like to help, we would love to hear from you!
Spacerownik was developed in cooperation with Grupa eFTe (eFTe Group), Warsaw and Fundacja Ekorozwoju (the Foundation for Sustainable Development), Wrocław.
